FUNDING

C.A.S.A. of SSW receives monies from a variety of sources. We are a 501 (3)(c).

Of these some primary funds are from the Victims of Crime Act Grant (V.O.C.A.), Service Club Profits as designated by the state of Ohio, the State Victims Assistance Act, the Webster and National Machinery Foundations, our counties juvenile courts and our fundraisers - primarily The C.A.S.A. Choose a Ride Raffle and Connecting With Kids. 87% of our funding is spend on our children and 13% is used for office expenses and wages.

ENDOWMENT FUND

The CASA of SSW Board of Trustees recently established an Endowment Fund and are accepting donations. The purpose of this fund is to protect the local program from future financial difficulties. CASA of SSW does not have a permanent, full-funding source available and begun the fund to help ensure our ability to continue helping children. In 2006, CASA volunteers spent 8,622 volunteer hours visiting children and their families, gathering information and attending court hearings. According to Ohio formulas for volunteer time, their work is valued at $1,300,000. Please contact our office for details on how you can help CASA help kids.  Tiffin office 419-448-1442
